Hamilton & St. George,Bermuda

Paul and I ventured out one day to the town of Hamilton and then to the far end to St. George. We rented a scooter and after getting over our initial fear (crazy drivers and very curvy roads) we enjoyed ourselves. It was different getting used to seeing the British flag everywhere.

Paul takes a minute to let me snap a photo in the shopping area of downtown.

These beautiful trees with orange foliage were just awesome. I couldn't get enough of them. This is a little park in the middle of downtown.

A beautiful shot of Hamilton homes and sailboats.

This is the inside of St. Peter's Church - the oldest Anglican church in North America. This is located in St. George, Bermuda.

We thought it was so interesting how the pews were sectioned off. Apparently parishioners once paid (via auction) to sit in designated areas. The ones closest to the front were most expensive.

A beautiful cozy sanctuary across the street from the church where Paul and I sat and enjoyed ice cream.

A favorite tourist stop on the way back to our hotel at the end of the day.....The Swizzle Inn. The favorite saying....."Swizzle in and swagger out!" They serve the island signature drink rum swizzles.
Paul is channeling is inner Ponch (CHIPS anyone?). I hope you find this as hilarious as I do!
