Paul's New Toy

Well here are the pictures, finally, of Paul's newest "toy". He took the girls on a little trip this weekend to give Jake and I some quite time and to get all the kinks worked out. They drove about 10 minutes down the road to Fontainbleu State Park and had a great time fishing with nets in the lake, playing on the playground, etc. Unfortunately much of the park had been destroyed by Katrina but that didn't dampen their spirits. We're all looking forward to taking the RV out more this summer, especially to Destin over July 4th.

Emma Turns Three!!

My, oh my, where has a year gone?! My "baby" girl turned three on the 12th of May. We began the day with donuts for breakfast and then opened family gifts. Hannah was especially excited to give Emma her gift. A Ty (beanie-baby) pig that she purchased with her very own money. She had seen Emma admiring one on an earlier date.

Later that day we held her first "real" party at a local place called The Bounce House. It's basically a warehouse filled with inflatable jumping "things". Emma had a blast with all her girlfriends from school and a few neighbors as well. It was a fantastic day and a wonderful celebration!
