In early October, we took one last long weekend (before the move to Memphis) to regroup and enjoy each others' company in Orange Beach. It was an absolutely wonderful weekend. The weather was perfect as we took the opportunity to tell the girls about our move. They took the news well and began making plans for their new rooms! It was especially fun watching Jake enjoy his first "real" trip to the beach. He loved it!

The goof troop suffers through a pose before we head out. We had a terrific time and to my suprise Jake was able to hang with us through the entire outing and was able to stay awake until 7:45. Alas, no margaritas were passed out this year! I guess we'll have to start our own tradition!
